90 days of summer

Today we've been enjoying quite a warm and long day inte car, from Jaipur to Udaipur. After a omelett at the hotel we packed up all of our stuff and drove seven hours (with just a stop for some crisps) to our hotel for two nights - Hotel Kalika Palce. Udaipur is supposed to be the most romantic city in India, and so far we like it quite a lot. Romantic? Hmm... not in our measurements, but still it's quite nice. We live just a five minute walk from the lake that is sorrounded by a road with camels, elephants and rikshas that you can take a ride on. The camels looked a bit tired (at four o'clock it was 28 degrees!), the elephant looked old and the rikshas was expensive so we decided to take a walk. That turned out to be a very good idea and after a while we sat down in the shade and had a coke and some crisps (again).

Now we're back at the hotel and just had some lovely indian food for a very good price. We just tried to upload some pictures but it didn't work! But we will try again some day soon. I bet you are dying to see some pictures!

So far Indias been treating us well. We have come to a conclution that we have a strong hate/love realationship to this country. But we love it because it's very exiting! Sometimes maybe a bit too exiting... A couple of times a day we look at each other and say "what if everyone at home saw us now!". But please don't worry!

Yesterday we got a Indian number so if you text us on our regular number we can answer you with our indian number. Okay?

And Grandpa! We flew with a B737-800 (Turkish airlines) and the second one (also Turkish airlines) was a bigger one... something with an "A"... sorry, can't remeber. Excellent food though!

Now we're going to finish off the day with some typical Indian chai tea with milk and sugar! Tomorrow we have a city tour of Udaipur, looking for some romance...
